Lingard Striker (Toney or Abraham) CM cover Goalkeeper
Another striker on loan
Replacement for Lanzini (if he leaves)
That’s 80m which should be doable assuming we get some money in from a couple of sales (Anderson).

"First team players" means they'd be in a match day squad not necessarily straight into the XI.

Not counting Dawson (but the owners will) I think we'll get three first team players.
I can't see us keeping Lingard... unfortunately.
It does depend on who goes but three with maybe a young, unproven loan or two is all we'll get.
(or worse a few 35 year old, holiday camp loans...)

I don't expect us to have much of a budget so I would say 1 purchase with some Loan to buys at best
We need a keeper to push Fabianski, Cover for Rice/Soucek. Back Up for Antonio I don't feel that we will have Lingard next season and it looks like we are going to lose Balbuena. What with Reid and Anderson coming back our wage bill will rise.
I would imagine the Mancs will dick us about with Lingard and we will either pay well over the top or not get him at all Obviously the priority is back up for Antonio

WE HAVE EIGHT ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS ON MOYSIES LIST, THE PLAYERS THAT HE LIKES ARE ALL OF SOUND CHARACTER,
SOME ARE ALMOST AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME, WHILST OTHERS ARE SOME WHOSE FOOTBALLING QUALITY IS OF OUTSTANDING POTENTIAL

whoever we sign, and we obviously need to, I hope Moyes is making the decisions. He has my 100% trust on that and hope the board does too. He has done some excellent business for relatively little money whilst we have otherwise frittered countless millions on misfits. Leave him be and back him, starting with Lingard.

For me it's all about quality rather than quantity. Top priority is in the striker department, where the only cover for Antonio is the unready Odubeko and the out-of-position Bowen. A couple of quality recruits there and I'm not too bothered if we have no budget left for any other positions, depending on who leaves.

If we keep our loans, on top of that I see us getting 2 new first team squad members as perm signings, CF and CM, and a couple of loans (another CF and an AM).
Expect we'll lose a few too (Lanzini, Balbuena) and will try and find loan placements for Yarma and Anderson.

Loins and frees with 2 cheap signings, we have not got ambition over night from this outfit in charge,I wish you all could see the plan sell sell sell keep the money. sell up and move on. did not want to pay for boys to go up to everton, europe, dream on. we need 6 good players,

Bit of hype recently for the 19yo defensive midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson. Is he one that could step up to be a first team squad player next season? Same with Alves the young Danish centre half

We will see Baptiste and Alise in the squad next season if rumours are to be believed and possibly Coventry?
But we need 5 or 6 quality players to bolster the smallest squad in the league. A left back, central midfield “engine” and striker ( 2 ideally)
There will be modest budgets yet again so I expect 3 players brought in and their quality dependent on getting a few quid for the dead wood that is Lanzini, Anderson and Yarmo

i do understand all of the views posted, i am a bit more hopeful than you are as i believe they want to sell a club with a set up and a title challenging squad.
we can set up some good deals for quality players and some decent free transfers and top notch u 18s.
if this thread continues i will make my suggestions known

Re: new players, how many will we get

we need a new LB - that won't happen as Johnson is seen as 3rd choice after Cresswell/Arthur we need a 3rd option in central midfield - that won't happen as they preferred to hand another year to Noble we need another striker - that will happen but will no doubt be a cheap option like giroud or the midget at blackburn

They will spend all the transfer money in the summer , that they was supposed to spend in January on Jessie lingard that will still leave us without a striker , so the answer to your question is , we need two strikers , a decent backup goalkeeper a replacement for lanzini if he’s off and an attacking central midfielder if yarmalenko is off , which l doubt on his money , plus the Noble situation /position needs to be looked at , there I’ve done it I’ve answered as best as l can , you cannot ask anymore than that !
